asset

The assets of a scene: imported files, meshes and their field data.

Group construct

In the namespace construct.

Detailed description

The namespace holds the asset store of a document, the import of a mesh file and its worker, the monitor that sees an asset file change, and the field data and render data that a mesh item carries.

Classes

Class What it is
DrawnVertices Which node and which element each drawn vertex of a passenger item shows (field-presentation §FVG-1)
FieldSplice Kernel that the vertex shader of a passenger layer runs, and what it reads (field-presentation §FVG-2)
GlyphData Glyphs of one glyphs presenter (field-presentation §FVE-12, §FVG-9), built on the thread pool and carried to the worker as TetRenderData is. Immutable once built: a consumer detects a change by pointer
GlyphRequest What one glyphs presenter of an item asks the pool to build (field-presentation §FVE-12). The asset store keys the build by key()
ISetupGlyphAdapter Adapter of one domain's setup (field-presentation §FVE-13, §FVA-1 rule 5): it turns each condition into glyph places. Made on the GUI thread from the document, then run on any thread
ISetupGlyphSource Where the setup of an item comes from, for one domain: the FEA solve setup, and later a thermal or a fluid one
ImportOutput Items a file becomes, read off the GUI thread (opal-mesh-references §OMD-1)
ImportRequest Request of one import: the file, where the scene lives, and where the new item goes (opal-mesh-references §OMD-1)
MeshFacts What the app knows about a mesh item's triangles (opal-scene-facts §OSF-3)
MeshFieldData Scalar stream of one mesh item for one field (construct-mesh-tet-items §MTC-7), the mesh counterpart of the scalars in TetRenderData
MeshImportContext Context for a mesh import job: the request of the shared import (opal-mesh-references §OMD-1), captured at submission time
MeshImportContextStore Thread-safe context store for mesh import jobs
MeshImportResult Result of a mesh import job: what the shared import read (opal-mesh-references §OMD-1)
MeshImportResultStore Thread-safe result store for completed mesh import jobs
MeshImportWorker Batch worker that loads mesh files off the calling thread
MeshParts Parts of one mesh: runs of its elements, each part one run (construct-viewer §VWV-2, §VWV-3)
RegionShell Surface of one region's field, as RegionLayer draws it (construct-project-space §PSR-2: "they render in the viewport as ordinary translucent volumes")
RenderStream One render stream: per drawn vertex, `width` floats of display data (field-presentation §FVG-1)
ScalarField One named scalar field of a passenger asset, with its range (construct-mesh-tet-items §MTC-7)
SetupCondition One condition of a setup as glyphs: `{shape, anchor points, direction, size, label}` (field-presentation §FVE-13)
SetupGlyphSet Setup of one item as the glyph layer draws it and the labels place it: built on the pool from the adapter's conditions, carried to the worker as TetRenderData is. Immutable once built
SplicedField A field spliced over drawn vertices: the kernel, its input streams and the validity flag per vertex (field-presentation §FVG-2, §FVG-10)
TetBoundaryGeometry Boundary of one tet volume, in the passenger vertex layout (construct-mesh-tet-items §MTC-4). Built once per mesh, whatever field the volume shows: a change of field builds a new scalar stream and no boundary (case A22)
TetDeformData Motion that the deform presenter of a tet volume draws (field-presentation §FVE-6, §FVG-3)
TetFacts What the app knows about a tet volume's elements (opal-scene-facts §OSF-3)
TetRenderData What the tet layer draws for one tet volume, built once per asset and field, never on the render worker (construct-mesh-tet-items §MTH-7 F1)
TetSectionData What the threshold and the cut planes of one tet volume draw (field-presentation §FVE-8, §FVE-9, §FVG-11), built on the thread pool and carried to the worker as TetRenderData is. Immutable once built: a new request gives a new object, and a consumer detects the change by pointer
ThresholdResult Elements that a threshold keeps (field-presentation §FVE-8)
