DoorAddress
Where the door of one user on one host is (trove-parts §TPD-2).
| Group | localdoor |
In the namespace octomy::localdoor. Declared in src/libs/liblocaldoor/localdoor/DoorAddress.hpp.
Detailed description
The state folder is <runtime>/octomy-door/ where the system gives each user a runtime folder, and `<GenericCacheLocation>/octomy-door/` where it does not. `platform::filesystem::hasUserRuntimeFolder()` decides, never a platform name: on Windows `RuntimeLocation` is the home folder, which made kiln's own fallback dead code (§TPR-6).
The folder holds `door.lock`, `door.json`, `standalone.json` and, where local sockets are files, `door.sock`. Where they are named pipes, the pipe is `octomy-door-<user id>`. A door in a folder of a test gets a pipe name of its own too, so that a test door never answers for the user's.
