This page is intentionally short. It lists the alternatives so you can pick the one that fits, then click through for the actual UI walkthrough. The walkthroughs live on their own pages so each method has a single, up-to-date source of truth.
| Method | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Pair via LAN | Default. Both devices on the same WiFi or wired network. Quickest setup, no extra hardware. |
| Pair via QR | One device has a camera and the other can display a code. Adds a physical-proximity confirmation step. |
| Pair via Audio | (future) The two devices can hear each other but aren't on the same network. |
| Pair via Bluetooth | (future) Short range, no IP network available. |
| Migrate via Network | If you're moving an existing identity rather than creating a new pair, see Migrate via Network instead. |
You'll end up on the set trust level step on the Agent — pick how much the Remote is allowed to do (Block / Ignore / Trust). See Trust Levels for what each level means.
