video

Video capture, frame conversion, video processing and camera roles.

Group video

Detailed description

libvideo is the video half of the media stack. VideoSystem answers which cameras the node has, VisionCharacteristics gives each camera a role, and VideoProcessor and VideoContext run video frames through a processing graph.

Type documentation

VisionCharacteristic enum

[since 1.0] enum video::VisionCharacteristic

The role a camera has on a node.

A node can have several cameras. A VisionCharacteristic says what one of them is for. visionCharacteristicToString() and visionCharacteristicFromString() convert a role to and from its stored name, and an unknown name reads as Custom.
