media::graph

A generic processing graph: nodes, connections, buffers, jobs and the schedule that runs them.

Group mediacore

Detailed description

A graph holds processor nodes and the connections between them. A schedule orders the nodes into jobs and allocates their buffers. Each node describes itself with a media::graph::ProcessorCharacter, and gets its samples for one block from a media::graph::ProcessorContext. A media domain subclasses these types: the audio engine and libvideo's video::VideoProcessor are built on them.

Classes

Class What it is
ProcessorCharacter How a processor node in a processing graph behaves: its inputs, its outputs and how the user sees it
ProcessorContext Execution context that a graph processor gets for one block: its samples and its parameter changes
