eval (construct)

The evaluators of the scene field: CPU, native and mesh, and the probes that check them.

Group construct

In the namespace construct.

Detailed description

One interface, construct::eval::IFieldEvaluator, answers the signed distance of the scene field at a point. The evaluators run it on the CPU, through the native compiler or against a triangle mesh. The gradient, leaf and transform probes and the inverse vetting check that the evaluators agree with the scene.

Classes

Class What it is
CPUFieldEvaluator CPU-side SDF evaluator — thin wrapper around libeval
DefinitionDataInput Definition-taxonomy §DTX-S1b — the definition data table as the input of a libeval program
EvalFieldEvaluator IFieldEvaluator wrapper around a compiled `::eval::Program`
InverseVerdicts What the editor knows about each transform inverse (leaf-probe §LPD-13)
InverseVetting Check 1 of leaf-probe §LPD-13: prove a definition's inverse on seeded samples before it is trusted
InverseVettingService Runs check 1 of leaf-probe §LPD-13 off the GUI thread and records each verdict
LeafKernelCache Leaf probe's programs: one per definition, function and revision (leaf-probe §LPD-4)
LeafProbe A document child's place under an SDF parent, found by running the parent's ops (leaf-probe)
MeshFieldEvaluator Signed distance field of a triangle mesh, for the tet bake of a mesh item
SdfSceneGraphBuilder Build an eval::Graph from an SDFNode tree
