SentientVerificationStatusWidget

An icon that shows whether the identity of a Sentient contact is verified.

Detailed description

The widget shows a shield with a check mark when the identity is verified, and a shield with a question mark when it is not. The tooltip says the same. The icons are general/verification/verified.svg and general/verification/unverified.svg.

The icon sheet also has general/verification/unsafe.svg, a shield with an exclamation mark for an identity that is known to be bad. This widget has only two states and does not use it yet.

These marks are monochrome. The colored shields under opal/mode/ are for OPAL only.

When the widget is interactive, a click emits clicked(), so that the host can start the verification.

interactive property

interactive : bool

This property holds whether the widget responds to a click.

When the value is true, the cursor is a pointing hand, and a left mouse press emits clicked(). The default is false.

verified property

verified : bool

This property holds whether the identity of the contact is verified.

A change sets the icon and the tooltip and emits verifiedChanged(). The setter has no effect before configure(). The default is false.

Access functions:

• bool isVerified() const
• void setVerified(bool verified)

• void verifiedChanged(bool verified)
