CpuInfo

One logical CPU.

In the namespace platform::hardware. Declared in src/libs/libplatform/platform/Hardware.hpp.

Detailed description

cpu is the number that pinCurrentThreadToCpu() takes. On Windows it is the global processor number: the active processors of the lower processor groups, plus the index in the CPU's own group.

physicalCore is the lowest cpu of the core that holds this CPU, so it is equal for the hardware threads of one core and unique on the machine.

efficiencyClass ranks the core kinds: 0 is the slowest kind, and a higher class is faster and less efficient (W2). A uniform CPU has class 0 on every CPU. The ranking follows hwloc's cpukinds model (BSD-3, <https://github.com/open-mpi/hwloc>): Windows gives the class, ARM ranks by `cpu_capacity`, hybrid Intel ranks `cpu_atom` below `cpu_core`. No code of hwloc is copied.
