WebFetchTask
web.fetch: fetch ONE URL into an attachment (opal-web-reference §OWRO-1).
| Inherits | OpalTask |
In the namespace opal::web. Declared in src/libs/libopalweb/opalweb/WebFetchTask.hpp.
Detailed description
The page never enters the prompt. It is written to a folder that becomes an attachment, and the answer names the attachment id, so the model reads it with attachment.read, attachment.grep and attachment.list, starting at page.txt (§OWRD-10). An HTML page arrives with its own images (§OWRD-11).
The gates
The task is unsafe (ruling R1): the URL usually comes from the model, so safe mode shows the approval card. Two calls gate more strongly, on the tier web-reach and with a confirmation on every call (§OWRO-7):
allow_large=true, consent to more than the soft cap (R8).- A host on a local network: loopback, private, link-local, or a local name (R9).
allow_private=truesays so for a name only a lookup can place.
Neither size nor a looked-up address is known before the call runs. So the first call stops and names the argument, and the second call carries it, gates, and the user approves a request that now states what it is.
