node.probe — what THIS node brings, measured rather than declared.

Everything reported is something the node can check about itself. There is no free-text field for an operator to fill in hopefully: an advertisement that can be wrong routes work to a box that cannot run it, and the failure shows up much later as a confusing error on somebody else's machine.
