LaneNotifier

Says that a lane came, went, or changed its phase.

In the namespace octomy::trove::lane. Declared in src/libs/libtrove/trove/lane/LaneNotifier.hpp.

Detailed description

A lane has no object of its own: its set is the branches of git, and its phase is a field of a file in its worktree (§LN-5.1). Eleven places change them, through LaneManager::ensureLane(), LaneManager::discard() and the static LaneManager::setLanePhaseIn(), and one of them makes a LaneManager on the stack (trove-unified-ui §TUI-K-4.4). So the notifier is one for the process, as clockwork::Clockwork::processEngine() is, and those three functions post to it. The board and the wall follow it in place of a poll each second (§TUI-D-8).

A write can run on a worker thread, so post() queues the signal onto the thread of the notifier.
