NodePositionSource

The one platform position source of a node.

Declared in src/libs/libnode/node/NodePositionSource.hpp.

Detailed description

A node reads the platform position only through this class (owner ruling, 2026-10-18: one position per node). Before 2026-10-19 SensorInput kept a second QGeoPositionInfoSource of its own, and its fixes went to the SensorsCourier and never to the node's position.

The node runs the source while a part of it wants the position and the node is active (Node::setPositionWanted()). Each valid fix goes into the NodePosition. A nudge timer asks the platform for a fix every kNudgeIntervalMs, because the GeoClue2 backend stops giving fixes without it. A source with no positioning method is discarded, because each request to it logs a DBus error.
