media::graph::ProcessorCharacter
How a processor node in a processing graph behaves: its inputs, its outputs and how the user sees it.
| Declared in | src/libs/libmediacore/mediacore/graph/ProcessorCharacter.hpp |
| Group | mediacore |
Detailed description
typeID names the processor type, for example an oscillator, a camera or a filter. takesInput and givesOutput make the node a source, a sink, a processor or an isolated node, which isSource(), isSink(), isProcessor() and isIsolated() report. The scheduler orders the nodes and allocates their buffers from these flags.
userCreatable, userVisible, intrinsic and intrinsicTrack control what the user can create, see and remove. channelAware says that the processor handles every channel of its context; a schedule with more than one channel refuses a node without it. A processor node returns its character from characteristics().
