SyntheticKilnFeed
Broker snapshots made from a script, for KilnMonitorWidget (monitor-load-color §MHD-9).
In the namespace kilnui::testing. Declared in src/libs/libkilnui/kilnui/testing/SyntheticKilnFeed.hpp.
Detailed description
The kiln activity's body draws whatever snapshot it is given. This feed gives it the three modes of monitor::testing::SyntheticSampler, so the lane and job lists show the full range of the load colors with no broker and no build:
- Calibration: lanes running and waiting at 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 times the ceiling, their mixes, and lanes whose cache serves 0.25, 0.5 and all of their compiles; jobs running and waiting, holding 0 to 4 GiB.
- Sweep: each lane ramps from 0 to twice the ceiling and back over a period of ticks, linear to the ceiling and then doubling; each job ramps its memory and turns from running to waiting and back.
- Frozen: one fixed set of lanes and jobs, for a scene.
Every other part of a snapshot, the samples, the cache, the techniques, the storage, is kilnui::sampleSnapshot(), so every panel draws. first() brings a minute of samples, and each next() one more sample a second later, so the strips move one column a tick.
Test support only, like the synthetic sampler.
