What `kiln freshness` asks of the machine (kiln-freshness §KFRD-4b, §KFRD-5b): makeMachineFreshnessHost() runs git, kiln, dpkg and apt-get, and a test fills in answers of its own.

Functions, not virtual ones: libkiln compiles without RTTI and its callers with it, so a subclass in a caller asks for a typeinfo that libkiln never writes.
