ISigningKey

Abstract interface for cryptographic signing keys.

Detailed description

ISigningKey provides a common interface for different key algorithms (RSA, Ed25519, etc.). This enables algorithm-agnostic code throughout the security and pairing pipelines and gives the upgrade from RSA to Ed25519 a single seam to migrate over.

Implementations:

  • RSAKey — RSA-based keys (legacy)
  • EdKey — Ed25519-based keys (current default)

Concrete usage goes through KeyFactory rather than direct instantiation — the factory picks the right backing class based on the algorithm specifier so callers don't bake one algorithm into their call sites.

Pure interface — class declaration is in ISigningKey.hpp; this companion .qdoc file exists so qdoc generates the reference page (per project policy class-level docstrings live outside .hpp).
