HeaderProgressChip

Shared header chip — bare icon at rest, slides open to reveal a progress bar when active or hovered.

Declared in src/libs/libwidgets/widgets/headerchip/HeaderProgressChip.hpp
Inherits QWidget
Inherited By batch::BatchStatusWidget and EntropyStatus

Detailed description

The chip owns the QProgressBar, the icon button, the slide animation, the bold-mono / pill-shape styling, and the hover-vs- activity expansion gate. Concrete data-source chips (the batch queue, the entropy accumulator) inherit this class, set their icon in the constructor, and push state via setProgressFormat / setProgressValue / setHasActivity. Click bubbles up via the inherited clicked() signal.

Centralising the visual code path here is what stops the batch and entropy chips from drifting out of alignment (pill radius, width, colours, font, animation timing) when one side gets tweaked.

Property documentation

barWidth property

barWidth : int

This property holds the width of the progress bar, in pixels.

A write sets the minimum and the maximum width of the bar to the same value. The slide animation drives this property: from the current width to 124 pixels when the chip opens, and back to 0 when it closes. 0 is the closed chip and the default.

Access functions:

  • int barWidth() const
  • void setBarWidth(int w)
