ReductionCache

The output of a reduction, kept per process under its inputs (field-presentation §FVK-6, the cache).

In the namespace field::reduce. Declared in src/libs/libfield/field/reduce/ReductionCache.hpp.

Detailed description

The key holds the field-set hash, the hash of the canonical field reference, the axis value and the reduction with its parameters. The field-set hash is the artifact hash of the file that carries the set, so a new solve gives a new key and no entry goes stale. The cache has a byte limit and drops the least recently used entry first. Thread-safe.
