construct::ui::RenderExportTab
The Export tab of the Rendering dialog.
| Declared in | src/libs/libconstruct/construct/ui/RenderExportTab.hpp |
| Inherits | QWidget |
| Group | construct |
Detailed description
The tab holds the filename template editor, the resolution, frame range and frame-rate controls, the render-preset selector, the existing-file policy, the codec settings and the Queue Export button. Settings keeps one filename template for each output kind: single image, image sequence and single video.
The Queue Export button emits queueExportRequested() with a populated construct::render::RenderExportRequest. RenderingOptionsWidget forwards the signal to ConstructShell, which submits the batch job.
The job parameters persist in two places, the app and the scene file. jobMemoryKeys() names them.

addCodecItem
[static] void RenderExportTab::addCodecItem(QComboBox *combo, const media::encoder::CodecStatus &status, bool showTier)
Add the codec status to combo, as the export will read it.
The item's data holds the container and codec names, the catalogue id (§RE-6 job memory keys by it) and the file extension. With showTier, a cautious entry says "(software)".
A codec that passed the probe only in the cautious mode is added disabled, with the reason as its tooltip. ConstructVideoEncoder::open() refuses it until video-codec-catalogue Phase 5 runs the encoder in a child process. Listing it as a choice and refusing it after the render is what the owner met with H.264 in MP4 on Windows (construct-field-defects D2).
combo is the codec combo box. Its model must be the default QStandardItemModel, or the item cannot be disabled. status is a probe result with a descriptor. When showTier is true, the label names the cautious tier.
