DefinitionListView
A list of the Things finder: a QListView that repaints a row for a new picture and does not lay the list out again.

Detailed description
QListView in ListMode answers every dataChanged with a delayed layout of ALL rows (Qt 6.10.1 QListModeViewBase::dataChanged). A picture does not change the size of a row or of a tile, so the layout only cost time in the List view. In the Flow view it moved the list: the Flow view lays out in batches, a batch layout sets the scroll range to the rows placed so far, and the slider clamps its value to that short range. Each thumbnail that arrived while the owner scrolled pulled the view back to row 100, near the fields section, so nothing below it could be read (owner, 2026-10-17).
Every other change keeps QListView's answer.
