PassengerResources
The GPU resources that every passenger layer, mesh and tet, binds besides its own buffers (construct-mesh-tet-items §MTC-4, §MTC-7).
In the namespace construct::rendering. Declared in src/libs/libconstruct/construct/rendering/PassengerResources.hpp.
Detailed description
- The colormap textures, one per colormap and band count in use, made on first use from libstyle's FieldColormap tables (field-presentation §FVC-7): 8-bit sRGB texels in an sRGB texture. - The colormap samplers: linear between texels for a smooth table, nearest for a banded one, clamped at the ends. - The zero scalar buffer: one (0, 0) per vertex, bound on the scalar binding of every item that shows no field. A per-instance step rate is a property of the pipeline, so one pipeline cannot read a field per vertex for one item and a single value for another.
One object per layer, owned and released with the layer's pipelines.
