StepDocument

A staged task's handle on its document, safe on any thread.

In the namespace construct::opal. Declared in src/libs/libconstruct/construct/opal/ConstructMutationTask.hpp.

Detailed description

It holds the document's id, never a pointer to it. Each GUI call looks the document up again, so a document the user closed between two calls is a clean failure ("the document closed") and not a dangling pointer (opal-plan-edit-sessions §PES-E13). Every call goes through opal::guiCall(ctx, fn), so a shutdown of the runtime abandons the calls that have not started (§PES-E14).
