What a threshold presenter asks for (field-presentation §FVE-8), the input of the threshold extraction.

Detailed description

The test `auto` takes the data's defaults: `below` for a field whose kernel marks its minimum (the factor of safety), else `above`, at the 25th percentile of the element values for `below` and the 75th for `above`. Then value and value2 are not read. An explicit test reads them as they are, so a bound of 0 is a bound.
