The seam of the compare form (field-presentation §FVE-11, §FVX-3 tradeoff T1): a field set, an axis value and a camera offset.

Detailed description

The side-by-side copy fills it with an offset: the tet layer draws the item a second time with the same geometry buffer, beside the item. A second viewport with a linked camera fills it with no offset and its own widget.
