FrameStep

One op of a proxy's chain (leaf-probe §LPD-1): the definition, its 8 packed parameter floats as the GPU node carries them, and the compiled instance it came from, if any. The batch renderer refreshes a step's floats from that instance on every frame (§LPD-8).

In the namespace construct::model. Declared in src/libs/libconstruct/construct/model/SceneItem.hpp.

Detailed description

A container's step has no compiled instance: it names its container instead, and the slot (translate, rotate or scale). The batch renderer refreshes it from the channel of the container's stand-in when an expression drives that channel (construct-null-object §CNOA-2.1, hop 5).
