FieldDisplay
How one item shows one field: the colormap, the range, the label and the unit (construct-fea-solve §FEC-2).
In the namespace construct::model. Declared in src/libs/libconstruct/construct/model/FieldDisplay.hpp.
Detailed description
Before this type, two layers each held the rule for the range and one held the rule for the colormap. resolveFieldDisplay() is now the one rule. TetVolumeLayer and MeshLayer call it for the range uniform and the colormap texture, the field legend fills its widget from it, and `construct.view.legends` and `construct.presentation.set` report it.
The display is computed when a layer uploads the item's field, or when the legends are collected after a change. It reads the extremes that the ScalarField carries, never the mesh, so it costs the same at 22.5 million tets as at ten (§FEC-6).
Since field-presentation phase 4a it reads the item's color presenter (§FVE-5): the range modes, the colormap by the field's sign, the unit.
The presentation of an item is construct::model::presentation::Presentation.
