Detailed description

Comms is the main entry point for node-to-node communication. It manages CommsChannel instances for each available transport (UDP, Bluetooth), handles session lifecycle, and coordinates Courier registration for data exchange.

Each node has exactly one Comms instance, created during node initialization. The Comms object is responsible for:

  • Creating and managing CommsChannel instances for each carrier type
  • Maintaining the session directory for active associate connections
  • Registering and routing Couriers to appropriate sessions
  • Handling honeymoon mode for aggressive connection establishment
