Detailed description

The presentation a plain widget can reach. A settings row lives inside a tool dialog or a docked panel, neither of which is an activity host, so the activity presentation is not available to it — and a row that could not open a picker at all would be a worse answer than a modal.

⚠ LIVE, not apply-on-close: colorChanged fires while the user drags, so the viewport updates under the picker. Cancel restores the colour the dialog opened with, which is what makes live preview safe to offer.
