System how-tos
Diagnostic surfaces for the runtime
These guides show the runtime state: what is mounted, what files are open, which subsystems are live. They are for power users; most everyday tasks have a friendlier entry point under Identity or the lobbies in the app itself.
Pro Tip
The system how-tos describe screens reached from the Hive Lobby (click the hive button in the Lanyard, then the matching entry). They're read-mostly views — anything that changes state has its own guide elsewhere.
Guides
| Guide | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Active Mounts | What hives are mounted right now — sentient + node, plus mount paths and times |
| Open Files | What "Files are open" means during an identity switch — and when Force continue is safe |
| Monitor system resources | The Monitor activity — live CPU/memory/GPU graphs, configuring the view, and applying synthetic load |
| Send a bug report | Review the files of a report, remove what you do not want to share, and send it |
| Sign in for reports | Paste a personal access token so the app can send reports |
