WinCryptoRNG provides cryptographically secure random numbers on Windows using the BCrypt API (available since Windows Vista). This is the Windows equivalent of /dev/urandom on Unix systems.
The BCrypt API is the modern replacement for the legacy CryptoAPI and provides FIPS 140-2 compliant random number generation.
The class declaration in WinCryptoRNG.hpp is guarded by #ifdef Q_OS_WIN so it only compiles on Windows hosts. This companion .qdoc file keeps the page visible in the generated reference regardless of the host the docs were built on.
