The settings window of one app: a non-modal framed window around a ConfigView. More...

An app opens its settings in a window, not in a pane, and the window is non-modal, so the thing the operator configures stays visible and updates live beside it (config-ui §CFG-2.4, owner ruling 2026-10-07).
The window is a QWidget with the Qt::Dialog flag and the app's main window as its parent. On X11 the xcb plugin marks a window as transient for its parent only for Dialog, Tool and a few others, so a plain Qt::Window falls behind the app when the operator clicks the app. Qt::Tool is refused: it is frameless in this tree's style and hides with its parent (config-ui §CFGV-7).
Its geometry is saved under `ui/config/<app>/geometry` and restored with restoreGeometry(), which moves an off-screen window back onto a screen. Wayland refuses a client position, so there only the size comes back.
On a platform with one top-level window, for example Android, the host is an activity: show() pushes the same ConfigView in full mode on the stack of the app's window. libplatform answers the question (platform::hasSingleTopLevelWindow()), so this file holds no platform macro (config-ui §CFGV-7, owner ruling 2026-10-07).
