CommsChannel Class

Detailed Description

CommsChannel handles packet-level communication over a single transport type (e.g., UDP, Bluetooth). It manages the handshake protocol (SYN/SYNACK/ACK), schedules packet transmission for registered Couriers, and processes incoming data.

The handshake protocol follows a TCP-like three-way handshake:

• SYN - Initiator sends session request with cryptographic nonce
• SYNACK - Responder acknowledges with its own nonce
• ACK - Initiator confirms, session is now established

Once established, the channel schedules Courier data transmission based on each Courier's mandate (priority, frequency, reliability requirements).
